For minor injuries and illnesses, our Rapid Care Clinic initiative provides a quick alternative to visiting a hospital emergency department.
Our pilot location in Cannon Hill Brisbane offers quality care for minor injuries and illnesses within one hour.
The clinic can treat things such as fractures and sprains, cuts that require stitches, minor burns and other general medical conditions - and no appointment is necessary. That said, the clinic is not able to treat more serious medical conditions and injuries and only treats children over 12 months of age.
While open to everyone, Medibank Private health insurance members enjoy a special consultation fee. What’s more, members pay nothing for X-rays, stitches or any plastering if required at the time. The clinic is open seven days a week, 8am to 9pm, all year round.
