The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) only accepts visa applicant medical examinations conducted by Medibank Health Solutions.

You can make a booking:

• online for most types of visa or personal circumstances, or
• by calling 1300 361 046

Costs associated with visa medical examination appointments are the responsibility of the applicant.    

Types of visa medicals

There are different medical examinations for each visa type.  It is your responsibility to make sure that you book an appointment for the right visa type.  You can book a visa medical appointment with us for a:

• permanent visa
• temporary visa 
• student visa
• caree assessment for carer visa.
